Under 8 had there first match of the season against the Rower on Tuesday 24th May. They played two very exciting match and won both so it was a great start for the year. Under 16 Hurling League Round 2
On Friday last our under 16 hurlers played St Lachtains in Brownstown in a tough match against a very good opposition. St Lachtains took home the spoils scoring 2-10 to Tullogher Rosbercons 4-0. Although St Lachtains had some particularly strong players and held a lot of the posession for much of the game our lads were still in with a shout untill the final quarter when St Lachtains upped a gear and pulled away.

Our under 16 footballers played Thomastown in Thomastown in extremely difficult conditions. In the first half with the wind in their favour our lads did well and went in at half time 6 points in the lead, facing a gale in the second half along with driving rain our footballers attacked again and extended their lead. however in the final quarter Thomastown seemed to find their pace at last and with our lads tiring after playing agoinst the wind and rain Thomastown went on to win by the slimmest of margins. Final score thomastown 2-11 Tullogher Rosbercon 2-10. Hard luck lads in both games
