Our under-14s’ played in the Runners-up finals of the Paddy Grace/Feile tournament on Saturday 18th of March in Bennettsbridge.  First up was the host club Bennettsbridge, who got the first score but Tullogher Rosbercon finished the half stronger with the half time score 1-1 to 0-2.  The all-important goal was scored by Kevin Aylward.  The second half continued with Tullogher in control until the end, winning on a score line of 1-4 to 0-4.  The second game against local rivals Glenmore proved to be a sterner test for us, with a determined Glenmore on top all through.  Glenmore led at half time on a score line of 2-1 to 0-2.  Tullogher continued chasing the game in the second half but we couldn’t overhaul Glenmore, who ran out deserving winners on a score line of 3-2 to 0-7.  Tullogher played well at this early stage of the year and will certainly benefit from these competitive matches as they ramp up preparations for the league and the upcoming national Feile in June.
