E- vetting is currently underway for 2017 Bórd na n-Óg officers and mentors.

The National Vetting Bureau (Children & Vulnerable Persons) Acts 2012 - 2016 commenced on 29th April 2016 and from that date a statutory obligation was placed upon the GAA to ensure that all persons who on the GAA's behalf undertake ‘relevant work’ with children must be vetted prior to taking up that role in Ireland.

All mentors and relevant persons must be E-Vetted. Further further information on the E-Vetting process can be found at the link below. Queries can be directed to Joe Walsh, Child Protection Officer.
