The Club’s AGM took place on Tuesday 29 January 2013 in the Clubhouse. Outgoing Chairman, Eamonn Phelan, thanked all club officials, trainers, players and supporters for their huge efforts and fondly remembered a historic 2012 when the 1st All Ireland senior medal was won by a club member, Walter Walsh. He stressed the importance that the club finances are kept in check and the expenditure continually remains below income. Eamonn looked forward to the future development of the Hurling Wall and thanked Sean Kennedy for his work to date on the project. Finally he thanked Treasurer Joe Conway and Secretary John Grennan for the colossal amount of work which they have done over the last number of years.
Paddy Gaule was elected as our new Chairman. In his acceptance he thanked outgoing Chairman Eamonn Phelan for all his work over the previous 6 very successful years which saw the Junior County and Leinster wins, the Club All Ireland Final in Croke Park, the rebuilding of the clubhouse and Walter’s historic medal win.
