Junior A's

The Junior A's had 2 games in the past fortnight in the Championship, winning 1 and losing the other.

The 1st was vs Mooncoin in Mullinavat and the lads went down by 5pts in a game that they could easily have won. Liam Barron was welcomed back from his travels and ended up with 6pts to his credit. Conor Hennessey chipped in with 1-1 , James Ryan scored a goal and John Murphy scored 3pts from play. The score finished Mooncoin 2-15 Tullogher Rosbercon 2-10.

On Sunday evening the lads played our neighbours the Rower Inistioge in Brownstown and came away with the win on a score line of 2-11 to 3-6. In a tough encounter the lads led by 6pts midway through the 2nd half only to see the rower score 2 goals to throw the result into doubt. The Tullogher lads got going again to win by 2pts but there were some nervous moments near the end.

U14's

The U14's played out the final rounds of the league against the top 2 teams in Roinn B, Emeralds and Graigue Ballycallan.
The final score against the Emerald was 3-15 to 2-7 but there was a few points between the sides with 10mins left. A much stronger Emeralds team pulled away in the closing stages after Tullogher lost centerback Richie Aylward through injury.
The game against Graigue Ballycallan in Kilmanagh wasn't as close though, The graigue lads scored 7 first half goals which put them in control. Our lads fought back bravely to to finish with a score of 5-8 but were never going to be able to match an excellent Graigue Ballycallan team.

U13 - Schools
The schools team played Lisdowney in the knockout stages of the schools competition. Lisdowney proved to be a very strong outfit and the lads were behind from the start and lost by a big score.
Well done to Mr Cassin and the combined team from Listerlin Rosbercon and Shanbough who won 3 of their games in the roinn B league stages this year.

U12's
The U12's played the Rower Inistioge last Wed in Brownstown and were in total control from the start to run out easy winners. Well done to the lads on a great performance in what was their 1st game at together at U12. The win was of great delight to the now Inistioge resident and U12 selector Marky Malone .

U10's
The U10s had a busy fortnight with 4 games.
1st up was Kilmacow in the Go-Games finals in Nowlan Park. fielding 2 teams the lads drew 1 game and won the other. Well done to the lads on their 2nd outing this year in Nowlan Park.
The boys also played 2 games in a blitz in Ramsgrange. The younger U9's beat St James in a close game and the U10 team played then and beat neighbours Glenmore much to the delight of Glenmore native and U10 trainer Richie Alyward.

U7s & U8s

The U7's and U8's played Ballyhale Shamrocks last week and won both games, well done to the lads on what were notable wins..

Leinster Championship

Well done Walter Walsh who had a star game for Kilkenny against Offaly in the 1st Round of the Leinster Championship and all Tullogher Rosbercon supporters are looking forward to a long summer supporting Walter and his Kilkenny teammates in their attempt to regain the Liam McCarthy Cup.
