The intermediates had to settle for a share of the points with near neighbours Glenmore in the refixed 2nd round of the Aylward Cup on Sunday morning. Starting brightly, Tullogher opened a 1-3 to 0-01 lead thanks to a Padraig Ryan goal. Glenmore responded and drew level before a goal pushed them 3 ahead. Tullogher finished the half strongly and led at half time 2-07 to 1-09 with the goal coming from Eoin Ryan. Midway through the 2nd half Glenmore drew level. Points were traded until a Moling Cotterell point gave Tullogher the lead with time nearly up. Some wasteful shooting prevented Tullogher from getting an insurance point and allowed time for Glenmore to respond with an injury time point to secure a share of the spoils.  Final score was Tullogher 2-13 Glenmore 1-16
