Junior A League

The Junior A’s played out an exciting draw in the 3rd round of the league against near neighbours Glenmore on Saturday. Unfortuenatly a win was needed to progress to the semi-finals. Playing with a strong wind at their backs a dominate Tullogher led by 1-09 to 1-04 at half time, the Glenmore goal coming late in half against the run of play. Scorers in chief were the impressive Ted Cullinane and Padraig Ryan. On the resumption Glenmore goaled early and dominated to lead by 4 points with 10 minutes left on the clock. Tullogher responded with 2 goals from Cullinane and James Ryan to lead before a deflected free from Glenmore’s Paddy Murphy nestled in the Tullogher net to leave the sides all square at 3-15 apiece at the end
