Junior Football

The Junior Footballers were defeated by Young Irelands (Gowran) in the semi-final of the Junior Championship on Monday, March 18. Gowran started brightly and dominated the 1st half, opening at 0-07 to 0-03 lead at the break. Tullogher’s points coming from the midfield pair of Declan Grennan and Pat Hartley and the impressive Donnacha O’Connor. Tullogher responded after the break, but found scores hard to come by. A late Cian O’Donaghue penalty after a foul on Pat Hartley, reduced the deficit to a single point however it was Gowran who got the last score to seal a 2 point victory. The final scoreline was Young Ireland 0-12 Tullogher Rosbercon 1-07.
