Commiserations to our Intermediates last Sunday, losing out to Carrickshock in the MLM IHC County Final. The lads had a hugely successful year beating Thomastown after a replay and getting past near neighbours Glenmore in the semi-final. We would sincerely like to thank Mark Tyler for all his hard work, along with selectors Martin Bookle, John Murphy and Stephen Cotterrel. Big thanks also to Anthony Flanagan for all his work with the team. To everyone who helped on the day and in the run up to the county final, thank you very much for your efforts and generosity. And lastly to the panel itself. We are all extremely proud of your achievements this year. Thank you all for your dedication and commitment to your club.

The U21's get their championship under way this Saturday, when they take on Galmoy/Windgap in the Quarter Final. The match is fixed for 2p.m. in Brownstown. Please come down and support the lads.

Congratulations Walter

Well done to Wally, who was awarded his first All Star last Friday at a ceremony in the Convention Centre in Dublin. Walter was also named on the Sunday Game's Team of the year in September. Two well deserved acknowledgments of the big number 10's outstanding performances this year.

After a great year's hurling, the lads were unfortunately knocked out in a hard fought semi-final against a strong Piltown outfit. The match ended with a 2-10 to 3-5 score line. Well done to the panel and management team on reaching a league final and championship semi-final in a very competitive Roinn B.
