Junior A Championship

On Sat last the Junior A's took on neighbours Glenmore in the 1st round knockout stage of the Junior A championship in Mullinavat.Glenmore started the stronger side and had a 1-2 to 0-1 lead after 5mins. At 1/2 time Glenmore led by 1-8 to 0-8. Liam Barron accounting for 0-7 and John Barron the other point.
After 1/2 time Glenmore reeeled off 5 points in a row , Tulloghers reply was a disappointing 5 wides, Glenmore led by 8 points with 10 mins left. A goal by Daire McGrath got the Tullogher lads going and they added a point by Luke Kent and 2 from Liam Barron to bring the gap to 2 points at fulltime. Tullogher never recovered from the loss of the early scores and exited the championship at the 1st round.

U16s

The U16's played St Fiacras in the new "tier" championship which is a new championship played during the summer before the "real" championship which will be played later in the year.
having beaten the opposition easily in the league hopes were high that the lads would progress in this competition. However the lads never got up to the same level as in the league and St Fiacras ran out easy winners on a score of 6-17 to 4-11

U13 Lisdowney 7's 
The U13's played in the 33rd running of the Lisdowney 7's last weekend. The lads had a tough draw being in the same group as O'Loughlin Gaels, Thomastown and Naoimh Eoin. They lost both their games to Thomastown and Naoimh Eoin is what was a very high standard of competition..

U10's

The U10's played Tullaroan on Wednesday evening and fielded 2 teams, winning 1 game and losing the other. well done to the boys on continuing their winning ways.

Tour De Kilkenny

The club will welcome the cyclists on the Tour de Kilkenny charity cycle ride on Saturday 2nd August to Brownstown. The club is being used as a food stop on the 160km and 110km events.

Sponsored Walk

The Juveniles section are holding a sponsored walk on Bank Holiday Monday 4th August in Brownstown. sponsorship cards have been distributed to all juvenile players.
