U16 Hurling League

The U16 hurlers opened their Roinn B league campaign playing St Martins in Muckalee on Monday evening. St Martins got 2 early goals in the 1st quarter but the Tullogher boys fought back with a goal followed by a few points to leave the difference at 5 points at half-time.
St Martins held their lead during the 2nd half and finished the game winning by 8 points on a score-line of 4-8 to 2-6.
Team: Anthony O'Connor, John Kehoe, David Walsh, Kyle Bookle, Ronain Moore, Shane Lyng, Niall O'Bierne, Richie Aylward, Dylan Morrissey, Ben Kennedy, Frank Murphy, Frankie Power, James Banville(Ciall O'Connor), Mark McGrath, Terry Lawlor.
Next game is in Brownstown on Monday 13th vs Freshford

Minor League
The Minors played neighbours Glenmore in the 1st round of the Roinn B League in Brownstown. A near gale-force wind made it a difficult evening for hurling and with Glenmore scoring an early goal with the wind behind their backs things didn't look so good. But a great goal by conor Hennessey got Tullogher back into the game and they added a few points to go into a 1-4 to 1-2 lead. Jack Byrne then added another goal to go 4 points up. The last 10 mins of the 1st half were decisive when Glenmore added 2-5 to go in with a healthy lead at half-time, 3-8 to 2-3.
Tullogher Rosbercon never made full use of the wind in the 2nd half , only adding 4 points to Glenmore's 2 points, with Glenmore winning out on a scoreline of 3-11 to 2-7,
Next game is in Brownstown on Thursday 9th vs Callan

U14 Football
The U14 footballers made it through to the championship semi-final with a 16 pt win over James Stephens B. The victory was easier even than the score suggests as the opposition failed to line out for the 2nd half. Tullogher Rosbercon lead 4-4 to 0-0 at half-time and played against the wind in the 1st half. Surprisingly, the James Stephens mentors decided it was too much of a hill to climb. It was a very disappointing outcome as a lot of effort was made by players. mentors and parents who made the journey to the Kells Road on Good Friday afternoon.
Next up is the semi-final vs Cloneen in Brownstown next Sunday at 11am, so best of luck to Billy, Martin and the team.

U10 Go-Games
The U10's took part in a go-games blitz in James Stephens, Kells Road, winning both games vs Bennetsbridge and Piltown. They also played a football game which they lost to Piltown. Well done to the team on their 1st outing of the year and best of luck in the upcoming Caulfield League which starts next Sunday.

Well done to Ciall O'Connor who represented the club at the Feile Skills competition on Good Friday in Nowlan Park
