Annual General Meeting
Our AGM was held this week and was very well attended. The following officers and committee were elected: Chairman: John Ryan, Vice Chairman: John O’ Shea, Secretary: Mary Fitzgerald, Bord na nOg Rep: Mary Fitzgerald,Pro: Hugh Byrne, Club Coaching Co-Ordinator: Mary Fitzgerald,School Liaison Officer: John O’ Shea. Committee: Mentors & Officers and Kieran Moore.
John Ryan addressed the meeting congratulating the mentors and players on a successful year and on the hard work and effort put in by all involved. Mary Fitzgerald provided all the up to date information on the various age groups and each mentor spoke about how their team performed over the year. Joe Conway brought everyone up to date on the financial situation and various contributions and suggestions were made from the floor and noted by the committee for action. It was announced that the club application for funds toward the developement of the hurling wall was successful and that work will commence in the near future. This is very good news and Sean Kennedy was thanked by John Ryan for his work on this project. Overall the meeting was a very positive and Eamon Phelan as Club Chairman congratulated the Juvenile section on its solid work and on a good year. The final note of the meeting was made by Juvenile Chairman John Ryan congratulating Walter Walsh on his wonderful achievement in the All Ireland Final and throughout the year.

Christmas Greetings
The Juvenile comittee would like to wish all our members and supporters a very Happy Christmas and New Year.
We are aware also that Christmas can be a difficult and lonely time for people who have lost family members during the year and we send our good wishes to to them.
